The four details every consumer product needs
GPSR covers consumer products sold in the EU and Northern Ireland, including those sold online from outside the EU. Details go on the product itself, or on its packaging or an accompanying document when the product is too small.
Who made it
Name, registered trade name or mark, a postal address and an electronic address.
Who answers in the EU
A responsible economic operator established in the EU or NI. If you are the manufacturer and based there, that is you.
Which unit it is
Type, batch or serial number, or another element that identifies the product. A barcode is optional.
How to use it safely
Instructions and warnings in a language consumers in the selling country can easily understand.

Is this legal advice?
No. EULabelKit formats the information you provide into a clean, consistent label and listing text. You stay responsible for the content being correct for your product.
I’m based in the EU. Do I need an EU Responsible Person?
If you are the manufacturer and established in the EU or Northern Ireland, you act as the responsible economic operator yourself. Tick the “established in the EU” box and the separate contact block disappears.
Do you act as my EU Responsible Person?
No. Sellers outside the EU need their own EU-based operator, such as an importer or an authorised representative service. EULabelKit puts their details on the label.
Is a barcode required under GPSR?
No. GPSR asks for a type, batch or serial number or another identifier. Many marketplaces ask for a GTIN/EAN separately, so EULabelKit can add one.
Does this cover cosmetics, toys or electrical products?
Those products have extra EU rules on top of GPSR, such as the Cosmetics Regulation, the Toy Safety rules and CE marking. EULabelKit covers the general GPSR details only.
